Through the years, Judy played a key role in helping to design and decorate the interior of the coaches. She modestly downplays her role saying, “When we first started, we didn’t have that many choices maybe three or four patterns repeated in different colors from a handful of vendors.

Of course as time went by, we began getting samples from everywhere. And toward the end of my job, fabric samples seemed to be everywhere, and choosing fabrics became a much bigger job. But I still enjoy working with my own fabrics and collecting my own fabrics.” Those decisions helped launch a product line that is now renowned throughout the industry.“Back then, motorhomes were just campers,” she said. “But, they kept progressing and now they are like fancy houses.”

Judy Tiffin is an incredibly talented woman with a broad range of artistic interests. No doubt her successful sons learned just as much from their successful mother.

Her home is full of books indicating she is very well read and beautiful historic collectibles signifying she has an appreciation for history, as well as a variety of original art pieces. Judy is a supporter of the arts and her knowledge of handcrafted items is superior.

The design and progression of the motorhomes today has fallen largely to her three sons, which she proudly credits with much of the company’s current success. “They all grew up around it and learned from Bob and then took their own strengths and talents and have really helped it grow,” she said. “I am proud of all of them.”

She is a dedicated craftswoman with a love for handmade items. She has taught herself how to craft a variety of garments, quilts, needlework and the like. She often goes to The Factory to attend a sewing circle, where she works on her handmade projects. Since the first of the year she has now tackled the task of weaving.

When Judy Tiffin sets her mind to learn something and do it, she accomplishes it! Her determination has no doubt been a steadfast example to her family to press forward and follow your dreams, to learn, to set goals, to never give up.

One can learn a great deal from this amazing gentle lady. First and foremost one can learn how to be humble and meek. Judy always honors the work of others before herself, building up their accomplishments.

Secondly we can learn from Judy how hard work and determination pay off. She began working as a teenager in Red Bay; she is still working today, keeping her hands and mind busy doing the things that interest her the most.

Finally, we can learn why Bob Tiffin fell in love with Judy, because her inner beauty radiated as charmingly as her outward.
